This is really what all of it is. We do not sell fixed tours; we rent you a boat, a captain and a crew by the hour, and everything else on this site is just an example of what people do with them. If none of those examples is quite your day, describe yours.

How a Custom Day Gets Built

You pick three things: a boat, a date, and how many hours. Then you tell your captain what matters to you — fish hard, or barely at all; one long beach stop or three short ones; clear water for the snorkelers or a village where everyone can eat; back before dark or back in the dark. The captain builds the route around that and around what the bay is doing that morning.

Days People Actually Book

  • The classic mixed day (6–8 hrs). Troll on the run south, snorkel Los Arcos, lunch ashore at Las Ánimas, golden light on the way home.
  • The quiet day (4–5 hrs). Straight to a cove — Paradón or Colomitos — anchor, swim, eat what you brought, come back.
  • The serious fishing day (8–10 hrs). Out to Corbeteña and back, nothing else on the schedule. See fishing.
  • The big group day (6+ hrs). Yelapa on Steel n Time, music on, everybody fed. See private parties.
  • The north-shore day (6+ hrs). La Lancha, around Punta Mita, and on to Sayulita if you booked the hours.
  • Multi-day (1–3 days at sea). Steel n Time only — she sleeps up to 8 with a full kitchen and salon.

Things Worth Telling Us When You Book

Whether anyone in the group is a nervous swimmer or gets seasick. Whether there are small children. Whether it is a birthday, an anniversary or a proposal. Whether you want to fish seriously or just have a couple of lines out. Whether you would rather be back for dinner or watch the sun go down from the water. All of it changes the route, and none of it changes the price.

What You Get Either Way

Captain and crew, life jackets, bottled water and ice, snorkel gear, rods and tackle, full shade over the deck and an open bow. Bring your own food, drinks and music. Bring cash if you plan to eat ashore.

Which Boat

Peaceful Easy Feeling — 32' center console, twin Mercury 300s, up to 8. Fast, so you fit more stops into the same hours. Guanatuna — 34' Gulfstream, up to 15, full shade, open-air. Steel n Time — 53' Hatteras, up to 22, three air conditioners, kitchen, salon, two cabins, and the only boat that does multi-day trips.
