Aboard Steel n Time
Runs the flagship on everything from a half-day inside the bay to three days offshore at El Banco. Sonar, radar and a lifetime of local water behind every call.
Chase a sailfish at sunrise, snorkel the arches of Los Arcos, eat lunch with your toes in the sand at Las Ánimas or Yelapa, and toast the sunset on the way home. We leave from Marina Nuevo Vallarta, ten minutes from Bucerías and a short ride from Puerto Vallarta — three fast, comfortable boats you book by the hour, 4-hour minimum. Fishing, snorkeling, a beach day, a sunset cruise, whale watching or a private party. You pick the day, we build it around you.

We don't sell fixed tours. You book a boat and a block of hours, then tell us what you want to do with them — and most groups mix two or three of these into the same charter. Fish the morning, snorkel a cove at noon, finish on a beach with a cold drink: it's all one trip.
Deep-sea and inshore fishing charters around Banderas Bay, from a 4-hour trip inside the bay up to multi-day trips out to El Banco.
See Fishing →Anchor over clear turquoise water and explore the reefs and rock formations around Puerto Vallarta.
See Snorkeling →Cruise to a secluded beach cove on the south or north shore, drop anchor and spend your hours in the sand.
See Beach →Head out late afternoon and watch the sun go down over Banderas Bay from the water. Available on all three boats.
See Sunset Cruise →Almost always paired with a fishing or beach tour — we fish or cruise as we look for whales, stop to watch when we find them, then resume.
See Whale Watching →Bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthdays and group celebrations — bring your own music, food and drinks, and run the day out to Las Ánimas or Yelapa.
See Private Party →Tell us what you want — island hopping, a private celebration, a day that mixes fishing, a beach stop and a swim — we build the itinerary around your boat and your hours.
See Custom Tour →All three boats do all of it — the difference is how many guests you're bringing and how comfortable you want to be. Compare all 7 experiences →
Los Arcos, Las Ánimas, Majahuitas, Yelapa, Punta Mita, Sayulita — every stop below is on your route from Marina Nuevo Vallarta, and most of them you can only reach by boat. Pick one, or string two or three together into the same day. Each destination has its own page with the run, the minimum hours and what's actually there.
A national marine park where volcanic rock arches rise straight out of the water — anchor alongside them for snorkeling over clear water thick with tropical fish, then wade onto the small beach for a swim. One of the easiest south-shore stops to combine with an hour or two of fishing on the way out.
A quieter cove past Los Arcos with calm, sheltered water — good for guests who want to swim and relax without the crowds of the more popular stops. Works well tacked onto a half-day fishing charter as the beach leg of the trip.
A tiny jungle-framed cove only reachable by boat or a hiking trail from Boca de Tomatlán — turquoise, sheltered water and a short stretch of sand tucked between rocky points. Great for a slower, more private beach stop.
A quiet stretch along the south shore that our captains use as an anchor spot for swimming and beach time away from the busier tourist stops. Ask your captain if it's running calm the day you go out.
A small south-shore cove near Las Ánimas, good for a calm swim stop and easy to pair with a snorkeling detour on the same trip.
A long stretch of sand with a handful of casual beachfront restaurants — a good pick if your group wants to get off the boat, walk the beach and grab fresh fish on shore before heading back out.
Our top snorkeling destination — a small, secluded beach backed by jungle with some of the clearest water on this stretch of coast. Bring your mask and fins and plan on spending most of your anchor hour in the water rather than on the sand.
A beach village at the mouth of a jungle river, reachable only by boat — restaurants, a waterfall hike, and a real sense of getting away from Puerto Vallarta for the day. The furthest south-shore stop we run, so it needs the longest minimum charter.
One of the first stops heading north out of the bay — a good option if you want beach time without running all the way up toward Punta Mita.
A beach club stop near Punta Mita with calmer water and easy access — popular for groups who want a beach day with a resort feel at the end of the run north.
The point where Banderas Bay opens into the open Pacific — a scenic run with good odds of spotting marine life along the way, plus surf breaks and beach clubs if you want to get off the boat.
The furthest north stop we run — a colorful surf town with a real beach-town atmosphere, best for a group that wants the boat ride itself to be part of the day.
Colomitos, Paradón, El Caballo and the quiet anchor spots only our captains know.

Volcanic arches rising out of the water, jungle coves with no road in, humpback whales in season and water warm enough to jump in year-round — all of it starts minutes from the marina. The boat is just how you get there.
Book any boat in the fleet for a fishing charter around Banderas Bay. Rods, tackle and an experienced captain are ready to go — how far we run depends on how many hours you book.
Anyone can rent you a boat. What actually decides whether you catch fish is the person driving it — ours have spent their working lives on Banderas Bay and know where the bite is that week, not last season.
Runs the flagship on everything from a half-day inside the bay to three days offshore at El Banco. Sonar, radar and a lifetime of local water behind every call.
On a fishing day the captain works from the tuna tower, spotting fish, birds and whales long before you'd see them from the deck.
Rigs the lines, sets the spread, and gets the rod into your hands the second something hits — whether it's your first fish or your hundredth.
Anchor over clear turquoise water near the rock formations off Puerto Vallarta. Masks and fins are on board — just jump in. Majahuitas and Los Arcos are our captains' top picks for reef life and visibility.
Skip the crowds and cruise to a beach you can only reach by water — south to Los Arcos, Las Ánimas, Majahuitas and Yelapa, or north toward Punta Mita and Sayulita. Drop anchor, wade ashore and spend your hours in the sand.
Almost always paired with fishing or a beach stop — our most popular charter combines all three.
Tell us what you want — sunset cruise, private celebration, island hopping.
Life jackets, fishing gear and snorkel equipment on every boat — plus a licensed captain and your fishing licenses.
4-hour minimum, extend by the hour after that.
Head out in the late afternoon and watch the sun drop into the Pacific from the middle of Banderas Bay — no crowd, no fixed route, just your group and the crew. Book it on its own, or tack it onto the end of a longer day.
The boat is yours for the hours you book — no strangers, no shared tour. Bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthdays, anniversaries and group trips run out to Las Ánimas and Yelapa, where you can eat on the beach and swim before heading back.

Ask any group what they remember most and it's the run home — music low, sky on fire, everyone salty and happy. Three boats, three sizes, one crew. Pick the one that fits your group and the rest of the day takes care of itself.
Every boat is booked by the hour with a 4-hour minimum, and all three run every experience above. Pick the one that fits your group, choose your date and hours, and tell us what kind of day you want.

53' Hatteras sport fisher — air-conditioned salon, 2 cabins, shaded cockpit and a huge open bow.
Nobody wants to cook in the sun for four hours. Every boat in the fleet has a full shade canopy over the seating area — and a wide open bow for anyone who came to sunbathe.
Cushioned lounge seating under a solid canopy on every boat, plus an air-conditioned salon on Steel n Time. Spend the whole charter out of the sun if that's what you want.
The whole foredeck is left open. Lay out, get some sun, jump in at the swim stop, then come back under the shade when you've had enough.
Twin 300 HP Mercurys, turbo Cummins diesels and twin Detroit 900s. Less time running, more time doing what you came for.
Cushioned seating, bathrooms on board, and a full kitchen, salon and two cabins on Steel n Time.
Furuno and Raymarine GPS, radar, sonar and fish finders — these are working sport-fishing boats, not party rentals.
Bring your own music, food and drinks. Tell the captain where you want to go and how long you want to stay.
